I had made a similar post on the American Civil War board and I enjoyed reading the replies. Does anyone have a favourite Regiment from the English Civil War? Also, why are they your favourite? |

For no real reason other than they were some of the first ECW units I painted, Sir Bernard Astley's foot and the Earl of Caernarvon's horse. Astley's previously being the Marquis of Hertford's and Caernarvon's going to a Col. Neville after Caernarvon was killed at 1st Newbury. Anyway, plenty more here wiki.bcw-project.org/start |

is a big fan of the Age of Sail, and these ships really speak to him - he loves transitional eras, and the Anglo-Dutch Wars was one of those.
