Are there provisions for generic vehicles in the rules or just one offs like this?

First edition WZR didn't have anything generic in it IIRC. Not sure about the new version as I haven't mustered interest to read it. Still, I'd assume it's just your regular expansion stuff -- even if it's available to three different forces.

An actual US 1/2-track would look cooler than this tarted-up version. Especially one of the AA versions.
