The Peruvians have some very interesting 1940 French style uniforms. But they kinda dominated the war heavily. Ecaudorians were US style. So if you want to have US vs France 1941 you can now. And the French have all the nice stuff! |

I would caution that view. Peru in 1941 had a GDP of 12.317 (1880 per capita) 1990 US Dollars.Ecuador 3.361 (1332 per cpaita). That is comperable to Finland in 1941 (12.999 GPD/3332 per capita) and Ireland (9.135 GDP/3.052 per capita). Ecuador was rather poor, but Peru had a ok economy by the standards of the era, though very unequal. You can eke out a lot of war material from GDP if you impoverish the people. |
