Of course, German Grenadiers were total lightweights compared to some of the elite drinking units of the British army.

The King's Own Newcastle Browns, or the Highland Ratarsed Rifles, for example!

Or a look at really drunk Soviet Guard Units 1941-1945. Really Drunk US Army Rangers 1941-1945. Really Drunk US Marines, as well. I think the series could be a hit.
