Very nice.

Very nicely painted!

A couple of comments:

I would have painted the Cazadores trumpeter in red with yellow facings, and a red schabraque and rolled cloak.

Suhr has a good illustration of this:

The Rey trumpeter looks good in his red coat with blue turnbacks, but I would have expected him to have the same red facings as the rest of the regiment. Possibly with a red schabraque and cloak like the Cazadores trumpeter.

The Rey standard was red not white. The officer carrying the standard was an Alferez and thus had an epaulette only on the left shoulder.

I have some of my notes about the Spanish Peninsular War Army on my site (including info on Regimiento de Caballería de Línea del Rey) which might be of interest:

8 hours! I would think I was doing well to turn out that many figures at such a high standard in 8 days.

Thanks, Keith. That's good stuff!

I appreciate all the kind comments.
