Does anyone know the status of Ebob Miniatures?

Website still up, looks as if they are in business.

I ordered from their website a year ago, using Paypal. Did not hear anything, no reply to any of my mail – I tried it roughly once per month. On the last possible day (6 mo) I brought in Paypal and after they tried to sort that out I got my money back from them – no idea how they proceeded with EBob.

I have still not heard anything. Seems Ebob does not react to mail, at least not to mine. I still want some of their stuff, but unless it happens to shows up with a retailer…

If you do not mind the possible bother, just order – perhaps contact them first, though. Another TMPler told me that he phoned with eBob during that time, but as my spoken English is some levels beyond the written word, I did not bother.

BTW: Any of the above can be documented.

That reminds me, I must write Ebob another email asking where my order has got to (I never receive a response). My father ordered for me some of Ebobs lovely Normans (as a Christmas present) two years ago. I love the figures and am in no hurry to get them, but 2 years!?

2 years? Sounds like they're OOB to me.

I have an order outstanding from June, and no responses to about a dozen emails both direct and sent through Paypal. I missed my deadline to escalate through Paypal…so I'll either get my figures or I won't.

I was somewhat hoping to hear from others who have had orders fulfilled recently, suggesting the business was still active.

Bob has been among the missing for about a year.
This is unusual as he has always been reliable in the past.
I've done several multi hundred dollar deals with him without any problems,
But it is true that he has been off the radar for over a year.

I had these Normans on my list, too. I really hope his business recovers.

I WAS going to order some of the Normans too. Not now though. Too bad, they are very nice!

It took me a while to get the rest of my order about a year ago, but I did get them. I remember reading that he was working on someone's game sculpting figures. I can't recall where that was though.

Working on a project is no excuse not to answer mails from a customer who has already spent the money in his online-shop. All I wanted was an explanation, and I WOULD have waited for another half-year without further grumbling…

Any word on whether this company is back up?

Beaumap30 Aug 2017 10:00 a.m. PST

Well done guys. You have all funded his current project! Just like Kickstarter but longer.
