A year or two ago someone attempted to put together a game or a source book set in the U.S. during the 1930s and based off of the Very British Civil War games and books. Does anyone know if this project ever went anywhere?

Never heard of it. Wouldn't it be easier to steal all the Crimson Skies stuff than to reinvent the wheel?

I think they pulled it or it failed. As far as I know it never went to market.

There was a really bad SPI game by the name of Dixie published in the late 70s. The premise was identical. It was one of their least compelling efforts.

A friend and I put together a Booklet called " A Very Divided America" That was a source book for that period. We have run games at GenCon for the last 4 years (15mm and 25 mm ) based on that .
But there were another couple of projects -one of which was a figure kickstart that failed to get off the ground . The other one I am not too sure about .

I had toyed with some ideas for a FiveCore game based off it, but it didn't end up sparking a lot of interest.

I think without a figure line tied into it, it's probably not much of a draw.

The one with figures tied to it failed to make its funding goal and was cancelled.

Cyrus,

That is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you for your help. I wonder if they might consider getting this project going again. It looked as though it had some real potential.

I was in for the book, as the figures were, in my opinion, rather uninspired.

That's too bad :/

How can I get a copy of that?
