IMHO Lead-Adventure are by far the best if you want a Metro/Stalker style game. Copplstone has some good more Mad Max style stuff in his future wars range. |

Moe sums it up pretty well. A few that haven't been mentioned yet: -East Riding Miniatures hasn't been mentioned yet but deserves one. They have alot of figs that work well in a pulp post-apoc setting -I would add also that if you or a friend have a bits box of GW stuff, you can build some pretty great post-apoc characters from their various plastic lines. -Necromunda figs are increasingly expensive but they are kind of my pinacle for Pulp sci-fi post-apoc'ish gaming and the pride of my minis collection. My thoughts on a few of the lines that have been mentioned: -I'm particularly fond of the old Grenadier figs that are sold by EM4, Moonraker, Forlorn Hope and Merliton. They were my start in post-apoc. -I also love some of the interesting charachters that Reaper does. They make a post-apocalyptic armadillo man for heaven sake! They do tend to be bigger in scale though. Grenadier is spot on 28mm sole-to-eye. Reaper seems to be 30mm and up with soem topping 34mm. -Wreck Age games is a neat local company and they have a pretty cool look at a distant post-apoc setting. -Ramshackle games vary in quality from line to line but they are absolutely an ace spot for building post-apoc vehicles. Curtis will even to custom combinations of parts and substitutions if you have specific vehicle ideas. |

I bought a load of Brigade's post-apoc figs at Historicon this past summer and they are really awesome. For some chunkier survivors, check out World's End Publishing. Hyancith Games's Wreck-Age line is closer to "true 32" like Infinity models but they are pretty awesome. |

Lead Adventure is my first choice. Hasslefree, Dark Age, and Pig Iron are next. I've also converted Empress and Assault Group troopers with reasonable success. |

Am I missing something or are the Brigade miniatures $8.00 USD each? |
Moe the Great | 01 Dec 2016 5:26 p.m. PST |
Nope, you are correct. They are really nice figs. |
ordinarybass | 02 Dec 2016 9:39 a.m. PST |
Moe, I've found that EM4, Forlorn Hope, Moonraker and Ramshackle have very affordable shipping rates and also cheap figs. I think (though I'm not sure) that Ramshackle might include shipping in their prices. |
