My thread disappeared so here we go again: Anyone make present day American and British troops in 15mm in winter gear? |

Not that I know about. Not ultra-modern types anyway. |

I thought our armies were all optimised with only fight in hot places these days? As opposed to the rather wet and dark places popular in the Cold War. So maybe modern cold weather gear is MTP with a woolly jumper underneath? Well, bed sheets and whitewash are cheap if the Russians ever do decide to come through Norway. |

Hmm, looks like I was right:
just paint bits of their normal uniforms white. |

"just paint bits of their normal uniforms white." That's what I did.

Can't argue with simple solutions :-) What's the texture stuff on the base Jack? |

Thanks Shelldrake and Martin. Ivan – it's just regular basing sand that's painted white, with tufts from GW. Oh, and 'what's a campaign?' It's what I do all the time ;) V/R, Jack |
