(So far.) Any new recording – it need not be an original song. This is the corollary to this "most hated" one here: TMP link First, I love a broad range of musical styles so don't extrapolate and think you got me pegged but I do enjoy this one: The Living Sisters "Kadoka, South Dakota": YouTube link |

Since they re-released "Christmas with Johnny Cash" in 2003 when he died, it's everything on that album. 20th Century (since we seem to be doing that): Nightmare Before Christmas Soundtrack. Ummmm, it is the 21st Century…….. I think his point might have been there's a lot of C21 left, so I may not have heard my fave yet. I just assume the "so far" is implied. |

Re: Fairytale. I'm a sucker for a good redemption story. I love the ambiguity of it all and hope for a happy ending. I'll never knkw. I also choke up if I try to sing along with it. Signed, Sentimental Slob |

I have always loved the voice of Karen Carpenter. Merry Christmas, Darling by the Carpenters puts her voice front and center. It is a beautiful song. B |
