@Pictor's Studio: Funny story on Feliz Navidad, which I also loathe. When my best friend Mickey and I heard this for the first time in approx 1969, we thought they were saying "Release Navidad". We wondered how Navidad ended up in jail at Christmas. To this day, every Christmas Morning, no matter what corner of the globe we are both in, I send Mickey or he sends me the message "Release Navidad", to which the other then replies, "Realease Him Now"! It is sort of a twisted Christmas Tradition. And yes, the song is obnoxious. |
