I know Dorling Kindersley as a publisher of cookbooks and travel books. It is interesting to see them venturing into history books. They have, in my opinion, the highest level of layout, clarity and editing, along with plentiful high-quality full-color images, of any English-language publisher. I'll have to consider this for my library because of their production values alone, even though, at the risk of sounding arrogant, I doubt that they present any new information or viewpoints.
