The .300 mags have the best long range accuracy. The .50 cal can shoot further but drops so much at long ranges it is hard to hit a man sized target. |

Yes Tango – .222. Recently read an article on them in the NRA Rifleman magazine. One reason you can't hunt with 5.56/.223 in some states and that they make .22lr adapters for ARs. As to the .300, BC is key. One reason the Yugos kept the 7.92x57mm for so long in their DMRs. Lower MV than 7.62x57r but better trajectory. |
