What tank, tankette, or armored vehicle do you recommend for Hungarians?

It very much depends on the timeframe you want for your army.

Second half of 1941 (June41 to November41): Hungarian Toldi I and II, Hungarian Czaba Armored Cars, Italian L35 tankettes.
November 1941 armor (Fast Divsion) withdrawn from the Eastern Front to refit.

Second half of 1942 (June42 to January43): the Czech LT38 (German Pz 38t) is the most common, with some Pz Is.
January 1943 Hungarian forces routed, Hungarian 2nd Army withdrawn from Russia to reform.

1943: Czech LT38, Hungarian Toldi I, II and maybe III, Hungarian Czaba Armored Car, and German Pz III and Pz IV (guessing III L or Ms and IVGs). Nimrod SPAA starts to appear. Primary activities are occupation duties in Ukraine. When Russians begin pushing in Fall, Hungarians mostly withdraw.

March 1944 to January 1945: Hungarian Turan I and II, Hungarian Zrinyi SP guns, Hungarian Nimrod SPAA, eventually also some German Pz IVG and H, and some StuGs, and even some Panthers. Impatient with Hungary's refusal to commit forces to the war, Germany occupies Hungary in March, eventually deposing the government. Russians and Romanian forces invade in late summer/fall of 1944, complete occupation of Budapest in January 1945.

How's that?
