Like so many others, I got myself a copy of The Walking Dead: All Out War.

The models look nice and the game play looks reasonable. After I get a few games in, I will provide a more complete opinion of the game and its mechanics.

I have started to paint the models and find them to be full of character. I have enjoyed painting them so far and think I will be able to complete this painting project fairly quickly.

I've started with the walkers and have 5 finished so far. I still have some work to do on their bases.

I'm not doing anything special with these models and like the idea of a quick and dirty paint job. The walkers will all be based to look like they are on a street, while the heroes will be based with grass. This will hopefully make it easier to pick out models on the table.

Work well spent. Your zombies look great and I'm sure they enhance the gaming sessions!

I've made a bit more progress on my zombies and even put together a couple videos showing how I am painting the miniatures.

Co-incidental that the zombies are all wakling down the middle of the road and straddling the white line??? Or a zombie conspiracy???

sean6833305 Dec 2016 5:22 p.m. PST

I will be basing all the zombies to look like they are on the road. Some will have yellow lines and they will be in different directions.

I didn't realize that these were all in a single file line.

Oops.

I've finished my first survivor, Sandra.

I'm pleased with how she turned out. I continue with a simple paint job, but I didn't do the Agrax wash over the whole model. Instead I washed different areas with appropriate colored washes to give a better finish.

Another model finished as I progress through painting The Walking Dead: All Out War.

This time, I painted Patrick. I'm happy with the look.

I continue my process through The Walking Dead: All Out War.

Rick was the next model in line. He turned out well and is now ready for his turn fighting the walkers.

Just watched a bunch of your videos. You know what I appreciated as much as watching your work?
Hearing Robotech in the background! 😂 Kudos to you!!!

@Capt Flash: I watch lots of different stuff when I paint. I've started to try to stop the shows when I'm talking so I'm not including anything that is protected and sometimes the language isn't always appropriate.

I'm glad you liked the videos.

Carl was next on the paint table and is now ready for the game table.

I've finished Derek which completes the models in the core box of The Walking Dead: All Out War. I'm happy with these models and look forward to playing with these things.

I hope you all can see that a simple paint job is easy enough to accomplish.
