"Imperial Fists and Blood angels........... Help!" Topic

Hello People, a liddle help, if you can?

I'm currently painting up some figures for a Space Hulk game, nearly finished some Blood Angel Terminators, about to rock in to some Imperial Fists, and I need some help….

Its all about colours yer see, I've seen Imperial Fist Marine Sergeants in Red helmets with a White stripe, and Veterans in White Helmets, likewise, Blood Angel Assaults Marines in Yellow(?) helmets, and Devastator in Blue(?) helmets?

Any more? was there any other colour variants? ie, shoulder pad edging colours for Tactical, Assault, Devastator, for each Chapter? or the colour of the chest Eagle? Its for Horus Heresy era, if that matters, and both Terminators, and Power armoured Marines (or cannon fodder, in Space Hulk, anyway!)

I say dont sweat it. Just paint them however you like. If anyone says anything just say they are a successor chapter.

Who knows? GW have retconned that sort of thing so many times now…

Thanks Jason, that's great stuff! Just what l was after. My Blood Angel power armed Marines are all first ed plastics, the classic RTB01 'beakies' but the Imperial Fists are later models, so I'll use this for them both.
