I spoke to the Guys at Crooked Dice today at Warfare. I wanted to donate a couple of quid to the Dr Who bestiary (Wrong official name I know) They mentioned that the files were being removed now that Warlord Games are doing an official Dr Who miniatures game, I see that the whole Dr Who miniature game Yahoo Group site has been removed Does any one know where one may find the Rules file and the Bestiary? Any help gratefully received my user name cavalry47 at yahoo dot com Thank you Christian |

Actually, it would be of benefit to others if that info could be posted here as well. |

Unless Warlord says otherwise I would suspect that as they are now the source of the "official" Dr Who game they will try to control all aspects of the Dr Who genre, including the bestiary, to match what is in their version . |

Probably not Warlord, but the BBC. |

Before you all go Warlord bashing they have already stated very clearly on this forum that they haven't told anyone to stop Dr Who-like miniatures or games. If anyone has it would be the BBC, they are very protective of their IP and I am surprised that they haven't put a stop to these miniatures and games in the past. They jumped pretty hard on SDD (I think it was) when they produced Dads Army figures many years ago, ironically after they were featured on BBC Breakfast! It may just be that different manufacturers have decided to stop before they get told to. |

Guys Agreed let's not bash Warlord Games, when I spoke to Crooked Dice they were talking about the files being removed from the Yahoo Group, not figures and by the way they were talking it sounds like they were on very good terms with Warlord Games. |

Nothing is removed from the Internet. Just search for drwhominiatures.co.uk at archive.org. All the files are there to download. |

I see that all the Doctor Who like figures are gone from the Crooked Dice webstore other than the one in uniform, I guess the BBC / Warlord can not claim copyright on the British Army! |
