Something for the miniature-lovers will want to see, and I'll bet be willing to support. DVG has officially commenced a KS for Israeli Air Force Leader, but they've hit a snag at $13,243. USD And as a nice little incentive for the folks around here, several of the pledge rewards do involve Miniatures and/or this game and/or other great entries in the Leader franchise! Don't you delay, as there's now only two weeks left to get your wallets ready and back it, please! link For more information, check out IAFL on BoardGameGeek, DVG's Facebook page and the Kickstarter's Description. EDIT: The models are of the 1\600th size – I can only communicate through edits for the time being because of the fact that I'm a newcomer around here. And FYI, I contributed to the project by pointing out historical inaccuracies and giving suggestions, but I didn't make these models… Pico Armor did. If you want to check them out, join the KS now, please! |

What scale are your aircraft models? |

I've been looking at this – I liked DVG's Phantom Leader as well as Thunderbolt & Apache Leader*. I'll probably back it.. The Pico Armour models are nice.. *One day I'll do up terrain tiles and use 1/144th scale aircraft and 1/300th scale ground units for demo/club games… |

Now that I have taken the plunge – I might buy Pico Armour hostiles. Bandits and Sites and Targets! |

The Arab air forces seem to be conspicuously absent. |

Dave Schmid: Allow me to reiterate that the models are of the 1/600th size. Mako11: The Arab-Islamic [and occasionally] Soviet Air forces are represented by the Bandits and Sites. I'm sure Pico Armor will make miniatures of those. As of now, twelve days are left on this game's Kickstarter, and it'll need all the funds it can get from backers. So if you can, please back the project. |

Pico Armor doesn't make any 1/600 aircraft (though they once had a small, short-lived run of resin aircraft), they merely distribute Oddzial Osmy's models which, as a matter of fact, already produces all the opposition needed. Interestingly, the IAFL miniature set gets you 32 aircraft for 40 bucks (instead of $50.00 USD MSRP) when ordering the exact same 32 aircraft from Pico Armour is $35.20 USD… |
