Kompanie 3, Aufsitzen! I had a thought inspired by a German Normandy campaign photograph and trawled through my old WW2 boxes. The base is a baking tray, lined with tin foil and filled with builders sand making a very portable terrain setting. My wife, Der Feldmarschall suggested that I use the conservatory for photography as outside was very windy. My intention was to follow the lead of some modellers and use natural light. I am pleased with the result and can recommend conservatories as studios once your partners consent has been obtained! The infantry are from many manufacturers, including the Hat tank riders but the Panthers are the old Del Prado magazine die cast Auf A's repainted by myself. Happy modelling. Chris

Nice grouping. Looks like the photos of Panzer Lehr before they went into battle in Normandy. Was that what you were going for? |

Hi, The setting is Normamdy 1944. I gave the group a generic look as this is an era where people can get a bit political. The mixture of uniforms reflects the fact that many troops liked to use the older, better equipment whilst they could. The Panthers are from the third Kompanie, third Zug, hence the title. Chris |

Nice diorama, I recognise Revell, Matchbox, Hasegawa and Airfix figures in there. |

The panzertruppen are Orion. There are also the Hat tank riders, Plastic Soldier Company troops, Pegasus and SHQ guys. Chris |
