I have a Wanhao Duplicator i3 which I am using to print various Printable Scenery Stalingrad Factory Ruins files. When I look at the .stl files using preview on the Mac, I can see they have a texture on the floor. When I print, I often find that some tiles print without the texture. Can anyone suggest things I can look at in order to fix this? In case it matters, I am using Cura 15.04.6

I've had the same issue on a few printer projects I've run on my di3 v2 and Most likely the detail on the stl is higher resolution than what your slicer settings, your tuning of the printer, and the physical limitations of the printer will print.

Look at the object post slicer and see if the detail is still present. If it isn't there then the detail is below what the slicer settings will allow. You can then try adjusting things like layer height and shells to see if you can get it to show up. If the slicer object is showing the detail but it doesn't show on a print then you're into the printer tuning and capabilities realm.

For most things I just stick with .2 layer height and proven good slicer settings and printer tuning and accept that I'll lose some detail.
