Unashamedly splitting hairs here, but these are definitely the infantry set, not the commandos. (The commando tommy-gunners had M1928's with pistol foregrips) This set formed half of Airfix's 54mm WWII British Infantry – the other half was the brilliant 'Infantry Support Group' set, with mortars, Vickers MMGs, ammo carriers and an erroneous bazooka. |

The support group was "brilliant" – and I wished as a kid that they had released similar sets for the Germans as well. And the bazooka – my Action mags were full of thme – nary a PIAT to be seen… Happy days |
