Were generals Gordon Granger and Robert Granger related? I can't find any indication, one way or the other.

"Who Was Who" lists Gordon as a "native New Yorker," and Robert as an "Ohio native" so, unless the family moved from Ohio to NY between 1816 and 1822, I would say not.

Could have been cousins.
