There. I said it. What none dare say! Overacting. Snidely Whiplash villain. Know who he reminds me of? Bo Derek in 10. 10 is a great Dudley Moore, Blake Edwards comedy. It's hilarious. Dudley steals the show trying to drink coffee and flirt with his mouth numb with novacaine. Running to the balcony hung over when a mariachi band bursts into song. Julie Andrews is as usual great. Then along comes the Mount Rushmore of beauty Bo Derek, and the action grinds to a halt while we admire her. Much the same with Negan. For years I have read and heard about what a badass he was. Then I get a guy who needs a shave tieing maidens to railroad tracks. What a letdown. |

I wouldn't know – I stopped watching after the stupidity of last season. (and last season was so annoying that I do make it a habit to rant about it on every thread that mentions the show) |

Amen. The whole show is a borefest. Zombies are now an afterthought. Heroes walk in to yet another perfect society in the midst of apocalypse. But wait! There's a terrible price to pay for safety. Heroes hem and haw about how to overthrow evil leader of society. Something happens in first episode, midseason finale, season finale. All other shows people talk and talk and talk and do nothing in convenient, zombie-free homes. Cigarettes and canned food never seem to run out. Chubby people mystically able to retain their girth. Heroes eventually overthrow bad guys. No one of significance dies. Yawn. |

Negan reminds me a lot of General Bethlehem, sans cavalry army. |

I suspect if I ever watched this I would be rooting for the zombies after 15 minutes…. |

I liked it, but do think in a real situation someone would wack Negan instead of putting up with that psychopath. |

My daughter have made a ritual of watching it together every Sunday night. She spent most of this episode texting with friends. I just about wore out the mute button with all the commercials. The show seems to be slowly unwinding its entrails and doesn't quite know what to do with them. |

Not impressed with Negan and the season so far… watching Sunday's show "the cell" all I thought of was "Darrell is going to eventually kick some massive butt" and I don't want to wait 15 more shows to see it happen!!! :) Hope the war between the three families starts sooner than later? Agreed. I'm a fan of the show, but the plot lines are getting so repetitive every season it's becoming boring in general. |

> I don't want to wait 15 more shows to see it happen!!! :) I was favorably impressed when the sanctuary folks were taken care of in one episode – show went downhill after that. |
