Hi all I have uploaded to my Blog pictures of Perrys British RMLI (Royal Marine Light Infantry). These have replaced my last lot of these figures.

Hope you like them.

Very nice work.

Meh. They're okay, if you like really nice figures extraordinarily well painted and based! grin Great job, paxx88! The Camel Corps have always been a favorite of mine and yours are superb. The dismounted CC on your site are terrific, too. What paints do you use and with what did you prime?

Fantastic job.

Now I'm even more confused about how to paint my Perry troops, curse you! Great job on all the different uniforms.

I am working on some Egyptian Gendarme cavalry.

Can't wait to see them. Please post pics when they're done.

They look great. Every time I see Perry's 28mm (my fav scale) Mahadist, I keep thinking.. Perhaps I should have watched 'Gunga Din' more and 'Zulu' less. lol

Thats a great thing about the 15mm, you can put a 'LOT' of troops on the ground for little investment, and in my case, they would show much less of these unsteady hands, than my 28mm British. :/

The 'battle field' looked great, Im sure the game was a blast. Thanks for the link.

Thanks you all, I will post some pictures of the Egyptian Gendarme cavalry when finished.

Part time gamer- you should watch the 1939 film by Zoltan Korda film The Four Feather's. its great captures the spirit of the campaign.

*Paxx88,
you know I seem to recall seeing that movie, but of course it was a much later remake, during my HS years, late 70's.

Like the film All Quiet on the Western Front. Ive seen the later remake with Richard Thomas and Ernest Borgnine, but I think the original B/W 1930 film with Lew Ayres just seemed to do the subject more justice.
To my surpise (shock) they remade it again in 2010 with Danielle Radcliffe.
