brilliant work, we have Poundland in UK and yield lots of vehicles in 1/43scale, perfect for this sort of thing. I would do more but just don`t have the space at the moment. |

Amusing. The building outline seems to be based on Pizza Hut's world wide standard design for free standing restaurants, which also get repurposed if the franchise does not survive. |

Thanks everyone. Yeah, space is getting tight. bsrlee… yeah, come to think of it, it does look like Pizza Hut. |

Excellent work! And an inspiration! Heh, there are even rest rooms in the back! (Check the link by all means for all the details). Who knows what could be lurking in there?!? Really good stuff! |

Thanks. If you look on ebay, there are more Playskool McDonald's buildings you can convert.. |

Plenty of kids toys have made appearances on my battlefields. Check out TMP user ordinarybass for some of his brilliant creations. |

Thanks for the shout-out Patrick! Nice work Byteknight! I make most of my terrain with repurposed toys, and I'm a bit jealous of your McD's find. I'll have to keep my eyes open for that one. Any chance we could get a pic of a mini next to it? As it happens, I also have the same Garage/SOS-Station in my to-build pile of resale shop toys. Seeing you're work is a real inspiration to get it done. I'm thinking it will be a great piece for Necromunda as the flat top means you can stack other terrain on top of it. If you want to see any more of my toy-bashed buildings, they're almost all at chicagoskirmishwargames.com |

In some ways, 28mm is a touch small, and in others, just right.

Thanks for that! 28mm Looks just fine to me. I might lower the top of a couple of doorways and windows, but that's just quibbling. I find that alot of toys have a similar scale dissonance/mixing, but once they're painted up and on the table they tend to look fine. |
