Col Durnford | 05 Nov 2016 8:06 p.m. PST |
I already have two in the wings. An early war French and a Romanian force both in 20mm. |

I sold my Finns. I would start them again. But for a new one I would do EW French, and Vichy and Free French. |
Col Durnford | 05 Nov 2016 8:18 p.m. PST |
That reminds me, I also have early war Russian standing by. |
Silurian | 05 Nov 2016 8:42 p.m. PST |
Polish, in 1/72. Lots of model kits available nowadays, not sure what company I'd choose for the troops yet. |
Jamesonsafari | 05 Nov 2016 8:46 p.m. PST |
Torn between 1939 Poles, 1940 French and 1941-42 Russians In 15 mm. But I have other projects on he go right now. |

miniMo | 05 Nov 2016 9:36 p.m. PST |
Trick question that. What do you mean by start? Start acquiring or start painting? Immediate plans that I have not done any acquisitions for (if Girls und Panzer schools count as WW2 armies!): 15mm Polish (Bonple High School) 15mm Burmese (Tategoto High School) And 10 other nationality schools with acquisitions and varying amounts of trimming and assembly begun, but not yet their painting. (Plus 3 with painting completed, and 3 with painting in progress as of this week.) For actual WW2, when I get back around to these scales: 1/87 NWE Canadians to go with my Americans and Germans. 28mm:1/56 NWE Germans and NWE Americans to go with my Canadians. |

Martin Rapier | 06 Nov 2016 1:38 a.m. PST |
Brand new and not just adding to stuff? Probably 15mm French. But what I'll actually do is continue to expand my early war Germans, US and Russians. 15mm. |
warwell | 06 Nov 2016 1:54 a.m. PST |
Considering I don't have any WW2 armies and I play solo, I'd have to do both sides. So it would be 1944 Germans vs Americans. I would do it in 3mm |
Lee John Ayre | 06 Nov 2016 2:05 a.m. PST |
15mm Hungarians (late war) but onmly if available in hard plastic. Unlikely to happen But I live in hope. |
IanKHemm | 06 Nov 2016 2:27 a.m. PST |
I'm starting WWII again after a long long hiatus. Germans – mid war. |

I do not have an WW2 armies anymore. But I would like Greeks for 1940-1941, and Dutch for 1940, either in 15mm or 28mm. |
Festerfest | 06 Nov 2016 4:04 a.m. PST |
If anyone ever makes plastic M13/40s in 15mm I think I'd be into the desert war pretty quick. |

early war French/BEF vs Germans in 20mm. |
Weasel | 06 Nov 2016 7:16 a.m. PST |
For clarification, the intent is "completely from scratch" as in buy new figures and then paint them up. |
Norman D Landings | 06 Nov 2016 7:23 a.m. PST |
Japs in 28mm. I'd keep 'em generic enough to do double duty fighting Brits in Burma & India, and Yanks in the Pacific. |

Baccus 6mm US. I saw the Sherman at Crisis yesterday and it is evey bit as nice as GHQs and will be less expensive! Their infantry and vechicles are to scale with each other. |
Florida Tory | 06 Nov 2016 11:11 a.m. PST |
Canadians in late war northwest Europe, in 28mm. |
Rich Bliss | 06 Nov 2016 2:05 p.m. PST |
All my WWiI is in 20mm. My desert stuff is nearing completion. And by that I mean 2 German tank battalions, 2 Italian tank battalions, The entire British 7th armored division for operation Crusader, plus an Infantry regiment/ brigade for each of the major combatants. So, I've got to start on western front. first up, Guards Armoured and US paratroopers for Market Garden |

EW French army sounds cool, 28mm for BA Japanese army could be interesting too but finding opponents and terrain could be a pain. |
piper909 | 06 Nov 2016 10:40 p.m. PST |
If I were to be involved in this, I'd opt for France 1940, if only because the woebegone French are such underdogs and the BEF is in a similar state, with antiquated equipment -- plus the Cameron Highlanders are still in the kilt! |
daler240D | 07 Nov 2016 4:57 a.m. PST |
I solo game, so it would have to be 2 armies. I'm thinking 1942 German and Soviet 6mm |
John the Greater | 07 Nov 2016 7:41 a.m. PST |
15mm Brazilians for the Italian campaign. 15mm Thai, perhaps, if I could convince someone to do French. |
