It was suggested that now Warlord Games have secured the Doctor Who licence, other manufacturers of not-Who figures would be forced to stop making them. I noted on a recent visit to both the Crooked Dice and Heresy sites that their previous Who-inspired figures are no longer listed and neither site had an explanation, nor could I find any info online. Anyone got any solid news on this? |

From what I understand it's as you suspect. John T |

Interesting that Black Tree are still selling their Doctor Who figures. |

Black Tree's are licensed, on a "until stocks are exhausted" type of deal. |

Thanks Norrins. All is now clear. To be frank, from what i've seen of the Warlord figures so far, I'm not impressed. For the price point per figure, I was expecting 'definitive' versions of the characters. The Zygons look okay, but the Doctors and their companions are so-so. As for the Judoon, I've always thought they were daft anyway. |

A pity Crooked Dice pulled their excellent Jon Pertwee figure; I was just about to put a £60.00 GBP+ order in, but canned it because that was the one figure that was a must have for me. I too am underwhelmed by Warlord's offerings. |
