… World War II "World War II has often been the base for horror stories and now geek icon Joss Whedon (‘Firefly','Avengers: Age of Ultron') is knee deep in a script that takes place during one of the most horrific periods of humanity's past. Whedon hasn't done much directly in horror aside from ‘The Cabin in the Woods‘ which was more of a play on the genre as well as a few one-off episodes of ‘Buffy' and ‘Angel' so it will be interesting to see what route he goes on this.
