Hey all, I've found the beta point system for TW, but haven't seen any final set… is there one? Link to beta rules: link |

I think that was as far as they got – the design ethos wasn't really aiming at point balancing, and with their return to their roots of asymmetric scenarios, I don't think we'll see a 'finalized' one, outside of a fan product. |

Yeah, we really needed something to help balance the scenarios initially. |

We were in the same situation in our group, and I created this: Tomorrow's War balance project It's hardly perfect, and it's still ongoing work (that's why it's still a online version and not a nice pdf, although a pdf is available), but we are using it and it gets the work done for most scenarios. Since we also modified a few rules (in the basic rulebook many of the rules are duplicated or lack purporse), some things are different. This is especially true for support weapons, something that we found that was a bit unwieldy in the book. However, it should be easy tweak them in any way you prefer, to suit your needs. IMHO the best way to do it is like Gruntz, create an army roster first and then pick and choose for the final list, otherwise it takes too much time. |
