I have been working at a University library and regret not discovering the Russian history section. Three books I saw that intrigued me, Arakcheev, The Commander the Life of Barclay de Tolley, and a memoir of Yermolov. Has or does anyone have these or read them? Only read a littld of Arakcheev. |

Yermolov – there is a translation available edited by Mikaberidze – I like the memoires full of intersting details |

Was back at the Univercity again, the Yermolov book is the one translated by Mikberdze. Arakcheev Grand Visor of the Russian Empire by Michael Jenkins 1969 is one I was looking at before and today a little. |

Getting to read Arakcheev some more, might be changing what usually written about him. |
