I have been working at a University library and regret not discovering the Russian history section. Three books I saw that intrigued me, Arakcheev, The Commander the Life of Barclay de Tolley, and a memoir of Yermolov. Has or does anyone have these or read them? Only read a littld of Arakcheev.

Yermolov – there is a translation available edited by Mikaberidze – I like the memoires full of intersting details

Was back at the Univercity again, the Yermolov book is the one translated by Mikberdze.
Arakcheev Grand Visor of the Russian Empire by Michael Jenkins 1969 is one I was looking at before and today a little.

Getting to read Arakcheev some more, might be changing what usually written about him.
