I am producing a wargame scenario for my upcoming Crimean War expansion module for Age of Eagles (Napoleonic Fire & Fury). I've decided to do the Malakov as I find it interesting and quite frankly, no one else does it that I know of. I have hit a stone wall as regards the Russian Order of Battle for the Sevastopol defenses the day the Malakov (and Great Redan, as I am including pretty much the whole thing) was taken by the French. Do you by chance have that information as regards units, strengths, commanders, batteries guns and gun types? If not, can you point me in the direction to find them? I have Todelben's history, but only the first volume, and I've not been able to find Zaionchovsky. HELP! . . . and thanks. Colonel Bill ageofeagles.com |

Thanks so much, but that one I already have. However, believe it or not, I got the information from an 1857 book called Der feldzug in der Krim by Anichkov, Viktor Mikhailovich, translated by a Saxon Staff Officer. Given it was published by Mittler & Sons, this may well be an independent, but sanctioned product of the Prussian General Staff. Has everything I needed.
