Not a successful day, but great fun! The revised solo system has really pulled the teeth on two-seaters. It's no longer an easy option to rely on the rear gunner. Those Yank Nieuports though… we have to get more air miles in them. I'm convinced they've got potential! |

We had a couple of good fights last Tues. Battle one saw 2 Camels, and a Nieuport 28 (me) battling 2 Albatross DIII one DV and a DR1. Allies won taking minimal damage, while really giving it to the Flying Circus I was able to down one of the Albatross and send another packing with wounded pilot and engine damage. Battle two found a pair of Nieuport 28s against 3 Albatross fighters…once again the Allies cleared the skies, and I downed another, sent one off the map with damage and shared the 3rd. We play with basic rules to make the action fast and fun. A good time was had by all. The ring leader of our group is working out some campaign rules, so we can work through the different aircraft types and keep matchups historically accurate. Looking forward to it ! Joe |

Yes, I recently updated my campaign rules to ensure historical opponents are used link I am sure, like us, you will enjoy a little campaigning to give games continuity! |

I put a Red baron in the plane. It is a plastic 6mm Epic Imperial Guard soldier with a scarf made of paper.
