Hello. Can I combine the following materials?

air drying modelling clay (FIMO air)

UHU extra ALL Purpose Adhesive

Humbrol enamel paint + gloss varnish

If the Fimo is thoroughly dry it would probably work but water in the clay would prevent the adhesive & paint bonding to the porous surface.

Personally I'd use PVA & craft acrylics.

Agree with above.

I've only used Das air drying clay but that responded well to both PVA and aerosol car primer followed by traditional Humbrol (this was 3 decades ago…).

Didn't use Uhu, mind you.

Thanks for the help!

I did a test with UHU and Humbrol Enamel paint and it worked fine.

But in the end I used Milliput (yellow-grey) to "glue" different pieces of clay together.

Cheers,
Karl
