Folks, I purchased a batch of AWI militia. Not sure of the manufacturer, but I would call them slightly over-sized 25mm figures. When they arrived, I found on the positive side that the paint job was actually a bit better than the photos showed. It took me only a few hours over four or five evenings to add some more shading and some missing (my opinion) detail. The bad news is that 10 or 12 of them had had muskets that were separately applied, and these were now missing. (BTW the seller gave me a partial refund in recompense). So, does anybody know a source, commercial or otherwise, for buying 25 / 28mm muskets? |

For Front Rank muskets, scroll down about 2/3 of the page: link In the US, they are carried by Triangle Miniatures: link Jim |

What about any of the plastics? Perry and WGF have extra muskets in each box. How many do you need? |

Thanks for the help, folks. Nevinsrip, appreciate your comment. I would need at least a dozen. |

Rawdon-The WGF Continental set easily has a dozen if you are OK with the weapons having bayonets and slings. I believe there are fewer in the British infantry set. If you are only looking for a dozen I could probably get that many to you. |

Bill N., I'll do a count tonight but I'm pretty sure that a dozen would fix me. I presume I can easily trim off the bayonets, and the slings are not a problem. Regards |
