I don't normally shout about individual Kickstarters, and obviously you need to make your own decision about whether to support a particular project or not, but I'm going to flag up this one that ends in just a couple of days from now.

Andy Bryant is a British Army veteran who suffers from PTSD and has received help from Combat Stress which most of you know by now I have been supporting for several years. His story forms part of the forthcoming "Miniature Wargaming: The Movie".

Against the odds and with a huge amount of effort and loyal support from his partner, Andy has built a small business in a garden shed, but it's now reached the point where it can't grow any further without new premises.

There are plenty of sound reasons to support the Kickstarter aimed at converting some old farm buildings – the terrain Andy makes is of excellent quality and the growing range is diverse – but it's also a triumph of hope over adversity as an ex-soldier has fought against depression and anxiety to make something of his life after having served his country.

Go take a look at the Kickstarter, watch the video, read the blurb and make up your own mind. Pledges start from as little as £1.00 GBP I've supported it – perhaps you will too.
