"Desert Nomads coming soon......" Topic

I have just finished painting up a set of the Peoples of the Sands, Phase 3 of the Outlanders range….

Hopefully the pics of the inked castings will show the figures themselves off better as the layers of paint and wash seem to hide some of the details.
Still, not too bad for a quick paintjob.
I am going to post them tomorrow once I have taken them.

In the meantime, here is one of the Stretch Goals that will be added to the tribe should it be reached:

The Pack-Beastl.

A young Noif is usually taken away from its mother at a very tender age to be raised by its owner.
This creates a level of devotion in the beast so that it does not stray far from its new 'Mummy'.
As it grows to full size it can also be ridden as well as carry a much heavier load.
;)

The style of these miniatures is growing on me with each release…I just like them.

And the Children of the Sands……

The young of the tribe are traditionally dressed in darker robes which make it easier for them to hide when out scavenging, which is the role they usually fill in society.

The Scaled Warrior.

The Scaled Warriors often ally themselves to the Dune Tribes. Their sheer resilience and strength are a welcome addition to a travelling trade, whatever their intentions. Whether they are a separate race or simply mutants is unsure. All that is known is their origins are even further South beyond the deserts.

(By the way: All of the figures have been mounted on 25mm bases to better give an idea of their actual size).
