Wow and what Sir Walter said….

That is not Warhammer since it looks like an Age of Sigmar Fantasy Space Marine set piece.

I visited Warhammer World in Nottingham with my son in 2005. It was the biggest waste of time and money I ever spent. I had been in contact with them by email for months prior organising the visit and had a tour of the factory, games and so forth lined up. I show up on the specified date and time (all the way from New Zealand) and the person I was dealing with was 'on leave' and nobody knew anything. They declined the tour and the games were reduced to producing some manky miniatures that looked like they had been painted by a chimpanzee with a roller. I tried to be positive for the sake of my boy who was excited as all hell, but it put me off GW big time.

Until just when I read this post I didn't realise how much that pissed me off even now.

Rant over.

I had a cheeseburger there once. It was good.

Yup they do nice food, prefer the old display myself, maybe because it was free :-)

Wow that looks fantastic! I'm really into 40k and would love to see this display in person. How many space marines did it take to complete that thing?

That looks incredible. I've been there a couple of times and each time I had a great experience. I was there in 2005 as well and got a complete tour through the design studio and the museum. They had some absolutely fantastic displays for both 40K and Fantasy Battle.

It looks like they have upped their game, at least as far as the Warhammer stuff is concerned. Just amazing models, painted beautifully on scenery that would be a dream to play on.

Glad you enjoyed it boys!. (smile)
