I got my last lot of Gallic figures finished. These are four elements of cavalry. I also finished a Marian Roman mounted command element and I added a freshly decapitated corpse to the element of one of the Gallic headhunters.

These are a mixture of Corvus Belli and Xyston figures. They will allow the DBA Gauls to field the maximum number of cavalry the list allows, or they will be mercenaries in other armies.

Pretty!!!

Need to get back to my Gauls and Brits – been 2/3 painted for over two years now as I went off with Sassanids, Parthians, Scyths, Classical Indians, and others. Just needed to add some chariots and horse and a couple of WB to some figs I picked up in an auction, but got stalled on doing shields and patterned trews, etc.

On the other hand I've almost finished the Greeks I stated 3-1/2 years ago(shields again)…

Thanks; I know that situation. At least with DBA the armies I paint are small!

Problem there is the popularity of BBDBA – and that is on the agenda at the next Genghiscon.

But that is in February so I do have some time.

BBDBA is the impetus for getting the last few elements painted. It's a lot of fun.
