Today, my mate Phil got his lovely Rangers out for a French and Indian wars skirmish, they are Dunn's Rangers, a company raised by Mr Dunn from New Jersey colonists to defend the border from the dastardly French! Nice AAR, these are all 15mm right? The pics were great. I enjoy some type of 'command roll' be made before a unit goes into action. Even if this is relativly easy to accomplish, it puts the possibilty of random events into a game. However, if your trying to get a new people interested, keep it simple. Let the dice rolls for combat be the only random factor in the game. |

Hi, no the figures are all 28mm, my rules link – have a system where you dice for command, and if you fail, the troops do something by themselves. It also allowed Morale to play a part in unit decision making, and precludes the need for a separate morale roll! |
