The Severan army leave the forest regions of Germania and move to the arid wasteland of North Africa.

Interesting games. With their army makeup the Moors needed to get more of the fighting happening in terrain.

Not a good series for the Moors.

In the series, the loser becomes the "defender" for the following game and though the Moors place terrain, Rome always had choice of table edge and second deployment.

Four more matches and this series will be complete, then next month I should begin a new series with Late Imperial Rome at centre stage.
