Some photos from a couple of '45 Jacobite Rebellion games. On the whole, these games played out as historically the battles actually did. Wild highland charges met with volleys of led and cold bayonet steel. The Jacobite charge tended to be irresistible if it made contact with all but the best of government infantry. The Highlanders biggest threat was the government cavalry which, if used correctly, could compromise their flanks and rear. Similarly the Jacobite's shortage of horse and cannon left them with few tactical alternatives other than to lift their kilts and go hell for leather towards the red coats. The Highland Charge:
