Perhaps it will lend credence to the internal ramp theory, which is the preferred theory in the Cairo Museum guide. Best of all, it shows there's always something new to learn. |

I'm sure somebody wrote a book once explaining that pyramids are thus built because they are the most stable tall structure you can build if your civilisation hasn't invented mortar. Like books that show there's no Loch Ness Monster or that the yeti and Bigfoot can't exist, it probably didn't sell well. I do like the idea that Quetzlcoatl was inspired by modern-times sightings of pterosaurs. What a lovely thing to believe. |
