Oh lord,Paul, you strung the bows! Very impressive, I have to say--especially for 1/72.

How are the Red Box elves,BTW?

Airfix Robin Hood set is indeed great for conversions. You did a great job.

I used to make peltasts from them.

Nice to see Robin Hood figures again! I converted a bunch of those into Ancient Israelites back in the 1970's. I wonder where those went.

They look great. But they don't have pointy ears. :))
Back in the early 70s, I converted some to "Swiss" pikemen using wire from trash bag ties as pikes!

Love the Christmas colors for the elves. I guess the North Pole will be safe from the Grinch's minions.

I once converted some of the Airfix Robin Hood archers into ninjas -- well, I just painted them black and dark blue. They didn't need much converting.

Thanks :-D
There´s a few ideas I´d never even thought of for them, Ancient Israelites, peltasts, Swiss pikemen, Ninjas!
The X-mas colours..not deliberate but I can see it now :-D
@incent. The redbox elves..I´ve seen pics of them and they look a bit "thin". Knowing me, I´ll probably end up buying them though, if only for the archers.
Adding bow strings..it´s easier than you think ;-)
