Billionaire Paul Allen's vintage plane and tank collection is just two miles away from my house in Everett, at Paine Field. We see flights of B-17's, B-24's, Tuskegee Redtail P-51's, P-38's ,etc., and they really make appearances around Memorial Day, It is routine, but no less exciting to hear and see these old warbirds in the sky…

the first time I came to the US went to see the Confederate Air force, what a great day!

Mako1116 Oct 2016 2:50 p.m. PST

Lucky you!

Last decent flyover I saw, other than the daily T-38 flights, is the U-2 that did a flyby weeks ago.

Buck215,
That would be KILLER!!!

Buck21516 Oct 2016 8:25 p.m. PST

Unlike my neighbors, I never complain when they fly over my house. It is the sound of history and freedom…

Buck, even better when we have a game day at the Flying Heritage Collection ( the name of Paul Allen's collection) like we had for the fly in in July.

The best I ever saw was during the gathering of Mustangs in Columbus, Ohio a few years back. It was a Lancaster being escorted by a group of Mustangs. They said the guy took the northern route to get here, stopping in Iceland, Greenland, and some where in Canada.
