As "Noctober" continues on my blog, the evil that is Samhain, Demon of the Gourd is revealed. Luckily two female members of the Night Brigade have also turned up, to put him in his place and blow out his candle (which is not a euphemism…)

Do you strip the Heroclix before you repaint them?

Depends on the thickness of the pre-paint. Older figures tend to have thicker paint jobs, so if it obscures the detail, I tend to use nail polish remover to remove the top layer. If not, I just use the pre-paint as the base coat. As long as your chosen paint give a good coverage, there's no need to strip the figure. Hope that helps.
