This weekend the local HMGS-South group played a Star Fleet Battles game. An ISC cruiser and light cruiser are tasked with destroying a mining station defended by a Gorn cruiser and heavy destroyer. link

I was never much a fan of the SFB designs for non-canon Klingons and Romulans. However, the Gorns, Lyrans, and ISC were very nice designs with a unified aesthetic. Looks like it was a good old-school game! |

See, I liked the designs for all of the races much better then, say, FASA. of course both ranges have their stinkers. I love the Gorn design but wasn't a fan of the re-design that moved the Warp Engines forward on the hull. the original lead ones. |
