I have updated my original map to show two parties – the King's Party (KP), and the Opposition – in the immediate days following Sir Oswald Mosley being appointed Prime Minister by King Edward VIII. KP coloured purple, Opposition coloured blue.

For the purpose of the map, the KP consists of all politicians who obtained a commission in any of the three armed services and later successfully stood for Parliament. In my VBCW, they were members of a secret military society that owed their allegiance and positions to the King. In a very few cases, some politicians have been 'added' to the KP because of something in their antecedents that made me include them.

Of interest, three areas mentioned in the Solway Chronicle as seeing activity – Liverpool, Somersetshire, and Cornwall – are not for the KP and nicely follow the narrative, although Canterbury has a KP politician which might add spice to the confrontation there involving the BUF!

Anyways, it's just a bit of nonsense that I was happy to pursue and hopefully some readers may find something of interest or benefit.

Constructive criticism welcome. Enjoy.
