It's remarkable how little this has made the news in the UK. Strike comes after USS Mason had to take countermeasures against missiles fired the day previously.

Yeah, but hopefully destroys their radar and comms gear.

Some reports out there are saying that those missiles were C-802s which are radar guided. So taking down the radar neutralizes them.
