I try not to get my hopes up so that I can be "pleasantly surprised."

The trailer actually had a good feel for a change. I did not look at the trailer like I did from the ones of Ep I-II-III-VII and think "So what?" I am cautiously hopeful that this will recapture some of the magic of the original trilogy.

It has an AT-AT variant in it…. that has to be a good sign doesn't it?

I'm more excited for this, than any of the other movies since the original trilogy.

If this doesn't save the franchise, nothing will.

The fact so many seem more excited about this than VIII should speak volumes

Episode 7 had a Domestic gross of 936 million, 2 Billion worldwide, I'd hate to see what a film needs to make before it DOESN'T need saving.

I also saw the return of 12" Star Wars miniatures (dolls). I have noticed that the 12" dolls show up when the marketing haul is apt to be huge. Target has a talking Stormtrooper with a Jetpack (with ground combat and flight modes) and a trio box of C3P0 / BB8 / R2D5 out. The force is strong this holiday season.

Nice to see the classic Fleet Troopers in the trailer.

Maybe they will get some new gear and some new figures.
