If your in Game of Thrones withdraw try the latest edition of The Hollow Crown. This edition covers Henry VI (all parts) and Richard III. (Prior edition covered Richard II, Henry IV & Henry V).

BBC production values very good costumes and armor (wish GOT costumer would take notes). Battles a bit too small but it is TV. Fun finding the parralel's with Martin's work.

Has some flaws (Maragert of Anjou in armor LOL) but overall does a nice job considering density of the material.

Thanks for the tip. The first part was outstanding; as you say, battles a bit small but it is TV.

Richard 2nd IMO was one of the BEST things the BBC ever did. Gotta warn folks, goddam commie Benedict Cumbersnatch is Richard III. He was, however, EXCELLENT as a Guards Lieutenant in Dunkirk.

He was actually pretty good as Richard III but they did choose to go with an exaggerated hunch back.

Bosworth had the most extras horses arrows etc. – best of the battles though with unhistoric rain.

Yes, I thought his interpretation was very good, particularly the drumming. But they did indeed go for full Tudor version bad Richard.

It wouldn't be any fun if they didn't;)
